Instead of hard-wiring the lamps into the circuit—which is a pain to undo—we use a modular bracket. If a tube dies after five years, you don’t have to order a whole new unit. You just pull the old module out and drop a new one in. It makes the time you spend on a scissor lift way shorter. No more fiddling with tiny screws or praying you don’t snap a fragile terminal while you’re hovering 30 feet in the air. You swap it, lock it in, and you’re done. The Trade-offs (Because nothing is perfect) Now, adding modules means you have more connection points than you would in a single, welded piece. If you use cheap connectors, the heat will chew through them. To fix that, we use reinforced terminals and high-temp ceramic insulators. It keeps the wiring from getting brittle and cracking after a few seasons of heating up and cooling down. And since we’re dealing with high wattage, a loose connection is a big no-no—you don’t want arcs. That’s why we added positive-locking clips. You’ll feel it click into place, so you know the tube isn’t going anywhere.
